The partnerships provide Local Applause with a key service it can now offer its members, while the professional coaching organizations gain access to the Local Applause network and expand their audience. Ultimately, it is the Local Applause members who gain the most, as coaching can be key to their success or failure—it can help individuals unlock their hidden potential and architect greater achievement in their business and personal lives. “When an organization is about growth, personally and professionally, then all who are associated with the group have an opportunity for growth,” says Barbara Tolliver-Haskins. “This growth does not stop with an individual; it goes on to impact all family members and the community as a whole.”
Access to several coaches makes this partnership distinctive. In fact, a variety of coaching styles and perspectives is essential; as no one coach fits all needs. “Every person is unique, just as each coach has a different personality,” says Dave Josephson. “This alliance increases the foundation that Local Applause has created for small business owners and will give members new resources to tap into.”
According to Florence Haridan, this alliance is a win/win for all. “The coaches will have another platform to educate the public about how coaching can help individuals, families, organizations and those with business goals to unlock their personal potential,” says Haridan. “As president of the First Coast Coaches Association, a local chapter of the International Coaches Federation, I see great opportunities for the coaches involved in our organization to support the efforts of Local Applause.”
Local Applause is a networking organization. Its mission is to recognize, support, celebrate and applaud the success of each of us. This is done through local and national events, an online community and professional business building workshops using strategic partners’ expertise. Local Applause was incorporated in 2003 as Spirit Connections. It operated as Women Celebrations until 2007, when it changed its operational name to Local Applause to expand its reach to both women and men.
