Last week was a huge success with our international "Rod Stewart" tribute featuring Kenny Holliday. We are working at transforming the Tree Steak House into a part time show case for great talent and food. We intend to be able to have a minimum of 6 showcases a year and plan on passing that! I was featured on 4th of July with Good Morning Jacksonville on First Coast News. I was interviewed from 5:30am to 7am in reference to my Catering business and the different ways to serve up a hot dogs. I helped a Mandarin family collect over $230,000 more on their claim than their insurance company wanted to pay, saving them from financial ruin. I sold 3 orders totaling 70 of my books, UNCOVERED, to a local mortgage lender, Realtor team, and an attorney for them to use as a promotional giveaways to their clients, and I'm currently working on a 300+ book deal with a public adjuster in Louisiana and I got a Southside family over $22,000 more on their claim for fire damage. Recently I sent out a press release titled “Baseball, Hotdogs, Applepie……and out of control diabetics.” It gave 4 or 5 ways to be successful for the 4th of July. I did one 15 minute radio interview on a Daytona radio station as well as a San Antonio station. I got a 3 or 4 minute television segment in upstate New York from the release. Also a newspaper in California, one in Illinois, and one in Florida picked up the release to run for their readers! It has been too much fun!

Finally I got al of my jewelry products listed on my Web site. I have eighty seven jewelry items listed. I made the items, also created all the pictures. In addition I wrote descriptions for each product and set up the store. I often wonder if I would have started this project if I had known just how much work it would be. I love making the jewelry - it is the tedious work of the web site that almost did me in. I talked to my computer a lot in the past month and IT was not all of it friendly either. I would love for everyone who likes jewelry to at least take a look at the site

My associate, Hannah, is being very creative and having a business party at her daughter's birthday party. She will be combining fun and business at the same time. She is making the cake for the party. It is a Hawaiian tiki hut for Barbie. Hannah is using her skills of being able to talk to people in person rather than the phone. The success is everyone has a different way of using their creative skills to combine mom events and business events. Moms can do everything!
