A Harmonious Pragmatist is a person who truly enjoys engaging with others in group or individual settings while recognizing that prosperity can be both financial and social in nature.
2) Movers and Shakers
An Individual who has a dramatic impact on an organization or a series of events. For example, an individual may be known as a mover and shaker in a particular business activity because of his ability to get things done quickly and successfully.
What does The Local Applause Network do?
The Local Applause Network, formerly known as Women Celebrations provides a platform for women and men to come together celebrate their own limitless achievements, aspirations, goals, and desires—and those of others.
WE believe that by promoting greater awareness of accomplishments and recognizing achievements—even small ones, we develop the power, ultimately, to transform the world to a non-judgmental, inclusive global community of secure homes, safe streets and schools, responsive organizations, and productive enterprises.
Local Applause Central Issue
Local Applause is an organization that opens the central issues that face busy people today by uniting like-minded individuals through lunch & dinner, events, seminars. Our products and services teach members to become visible to themselves and to other people. Local Applause creates a safe environment in which all people find themselves independent of others and and learn the importance of standing strong and firm with beliefs and desires that support long term success. In this way, each person finds their own magnificence and begin to live a fully celebrated life.
Local Applause will become a global organization that embraces the methodology of celebration. We accomplish this by bringing together well-educated, well-nourished men and women who have the capability and resources to make decisions about their own well-being. Men and Women who understand peace, joy and cooperation are free to be magnificent and will stand in their power with their own voice.
Local Applause Philosophy
Our organization celebrates the working hands that shape society as we know it today. Ambitious, benevolent people who find it difficult to take time for themselves need to surround themselves with like-minded, uplifting individuals who seek companionship on a new social frontier. We hope to become a refreshing asset in the lives of people throughout the United States as many people, men and women unify to celebrate, just as they have been doing since September, 2004, in north Florida.
We offer an exciting journey to all women and men who become involved in The Local Applause Network. Central to that positive journey to full celebration is the power of attraction. Maybe you’ve heard that term before. Essentially, this power is the amazing ability to attract to oneself all the good things needed and wanted for a fulfilling and satisfying life by generating positive energy and taking determined steps along the path to success.
We help our members surround themselves with positives, realizing that everything is exactly as it is supposed to be, right here and right now. Regular participants in Local Applause events learn to celebrate themselves and life, applaud and be applauded, give and receive graciously, and to develop sincere enthusiasm for the success of others. We practice the beautiful art of giving, with no expectation of “payback,” engaging regularly with positive people who desire our success as much as their own. We relinquish any need for perfection to make room for a bigger heart, stronger human connections, and mutual support. The more an individual engages in positive relationships, the more likely she is to find the tools and resources she needs while simultaneously becoming a richer resource for her and others.
Our focus is on celebrating people from all walks of life, including those whose daily activities have bottom-line implications, whose responsibilities are equal to all those around them, one is not better or worse than the next person: the world of the human family and the world of entrepreneurship and commerce. Committed to the fact that people do business with people they really know, we consistently and enthusiastically bring together like-minded individuals who embrace our positive philosophy and seek to enrich their own lives through the mutual enrichment of the community. For women in business, this can mean improved workplace performance and increased sales. For men in business, this means this means building relationships and being open to new ways of doing business. For women and men who are committed to raising a family, home schooling children, getting a good education, or enjoying a satisfying retirement, this can mean better quality of life through self-knowledge and self-appreciation.

Why A Organization that Celebrates and Applauds?
 | If you’re reading this, you probably have some answers to that question yourself, but let me share my answers so we can have a meeting of the minds before we go any further. |
I’m Sheryl Lynn, founder of Local Applause, that has begun in north Florida and stirring interest across the country and even across oceans. I am proud to be called the spirit and guiding hand behind Local Applause because I know, to the core of my being, the importance of this positive, supportive movement that celebrates and encourages all people and especially women.
Anyone who has read all the way to this point, already has a strong sense that women are different from men in the way they do business, the way they manage their personal lives, and the way they fit into the grand cosmic scheme. The scientific studies have been done now, and we are all coming to understand that the two sexes are complementary and interdependent because men have specific strengths and weaknesses and women have other strengths and weaknesses. It is the strengths of women that we celebrate. It is the strength of women that we applaud. It is the strength of all women and men that is powerful and we take time to hear and celebrate and recognize and appreciate these efforts.
Celebration Fully Realized: What it looks like
We are all wanting to be the best that we can be, however I want to take a moment and focus on the women of our network for just a moment.
Women are champions at nourishing everyone around them. When you let yourself be nourished the way you nourish everyone else, you fill up and have more to give everyone and everything around you. Fully celebrated women love more, get more done and are just plain happier than women who fail to fully realize their own magnificence, because their spirit is well-nourished and they have more to give.
It's no secret that women are taught to put everyone else first. It takes time, guts, and support to change that. That’s why we make celebration a team effort. When you experience the joy and power of celebrating other women and letting them celebrate you, you wake up to the need to celebrate yourself in ways that break the traditional taboos about putting yourself first. Celebration becomes a form of nourishment for the spirit that has the power to transform your life (and those around you). As we all know, "When Mama is happy, everybody's happy."
Fully celebrated and applauded women have the freedom to wake up everyday and wipe clean the slate of yesterday’s trials and missteps. They proceed to move in a positive direction, letting negative energy slide off them, planning a day of joy without misery, peace without worry, and gain without pain. Fully celebrated women have the power to feel good about themselves and their world in spite of what their boss or marital partner says and regardless of what their siblings or co-workers tell them they can’t do. They stop replacing their own intuition with piles of books on miles of bookshelves that advise them about how to achieve success and fulfillment.
A celebrated woman is a sovereign woman, ready to be the queen or goddess of her little part of the world, content in her own perfection, accepting that real perfection is being perfectly herself.

I have a high regard for safety, patience and peace always
I celebrate my abundance and the value of all money in my life
I surround myself with similarly strong, uplifting individuals
I enter any room standing tall and proud, assured of the support awaiting me
I have brought to the surface my true talent, and am sharing it with everyone
I choose to take time to be alone and become renewed
I allow myself the time and space I need to recover from life’s daily challenges
I wish the best for every other human being, no matter what has been
I can close my eyes and feel the energy of my own strength and power within me
