Successful networking for me is when I walk away from the event with inspiration and further confirmation that I am doing what I desire for my life.

Recently I attended The Local Applause Networking function and heard Executive Business Coach Barbara Tolliver-Haskins speak. Barbara comes highly recommended and so I knew that I would receive positive feedback and affirmation from her. The inspirational nature of the speaker and the many exuberant people in attendance resulted in the direct success of the networking event.

Since my first attending a Local Applause function, I have become an Ambassador with them as I feel I can spread the word about the camaraderie each person will feel when they attend. Everyone will be uplifted and can walk away standing a little taller knowing that they are doing a great job at whatever they are doing...and that there are others around them truly do applaud them!

As a business woman myself, and someone who networks in my sleep, I know that when anyone, whether an individual, a medium size business owner or a large corporation takes time to stop and breathe, celebrate their current success or highlight an employee - which The Local Applause Network is known for - they will see the added value that this network can offer them and their companies. The Local Applause event on September 17th, 2007 was wonderful and prosperous. I had great time and I think we should do it more frequently. We had a booth at the LOCAL APPLAUSE Celebration of Success on September 17th, 2007 at the Tera Nova Lounge. There were three of us in our booth and we were so busy the entire night. There was a lot of opportunity to share Arbonne International with qualified people who were interested in what we had to offer! We sold product, signed up new consultants and left with a ton of great leads. If it had not been raining who knows what would have happened! All I know is we took two chairs and not once did us sit down. Two Hundred people seemed like Thousands! Thank you Local Applause – You made our evening great!

I wanted to tell you and Michael that the Local Applause Celebration Event last night at the Tera Nova was “JAMMIN’! We had a great time talking to people and spreading the JAM to Jacksonville. The music was terrific and what a way to close the show with the wonderfully talented Elizabeth Callender’s rendition of “Fancy”! Brava-Bravissimo! Much very loud and prolonged local applause to celebrate Elizabeth’s musical talent AND her real estate sale yesterday.

All-in-all, even with the much needed rain, the Celebration was successful and kudos to you, Michael and all the vendors and entertainers who made the evening a 5 Star Event! The JAM is looking forward to a successful year for Local Applause and the JAM and invites you and your family to attend our Home Games. Brava to you also!!

Networking is an important activity when trying to build any business. For years I've been involved with networking in many different forms. In most groups, one is surrounded by those who are only trying to get name recognition and business for themselves.
A couple of months ago I found myself looking for more. I knew there had to be an organization that would have a strong networking theme, yet give more to their attendees at a meeting than just business recognition.
